Everyday CRM
Today
Your daily workspace: the work that needs you now, in one place, in the order that matters.
Find it: Left nav → Today (right after Dashboard) — signing in lands you here · Who can use it: Org Admins, Development Associates, Committee Chairs and Committee Members. Board Viewers land on the Dashboard instead.
What you'll see
Today gathers your open tasks and the conditions that need a decision, sorted into sections in a fixed order:
- Overdue — tasks past their due date (and, for staff, donors whose next-action date has passed).
- Review and approve — pending donor changes and review tasks (staff only).
- Thank now — recent gifts with no thank-you yet, and Thank-you tasks due soon.
- Follow up — other tasks due in the next week.
- Relationships going stale — priority donors with no contact in 90 days and nothing planned.
- Upcoming — tasks due in the next month, plus a line for tasks with no due date.
- Unassigned priority donors — priority donors with no staff relationship owner (staff only).
Committee members see their own assigned tasks and the donors in their scope; amounts are never shown to them.
How to act
- Complete, snooze or reschedule a task right where it is. Thank-you and relationship tasks ask for the outcome (for example, the thank-you you sent) so the condition doesn't come back.
- Accept a recommendation to turn it into a task — one at a time, or up to 25 selected at once. There is no "accept all": every task is created because someone chose it.
- Staff can dismiss a condition with a fixed reason (for example, "gift needs review"); it expires on its own, and can be undone from the section's Dismissed list.
Where everything else lives
- Tasks stays your full, searchable list and history — every view and filter, and all past work.
- Action Plan and Alerts still work. Each now shows a banner and Open in Today links for the parts Today covers; the links take you to the matching section, never somewhere unexpected. Old bookmarks keep working.
- The Dashboard is one click away for the numbers.
Good to know
- Nothing on Today is created for you automatically. Reading Today never changes anything.
- "Today" follows your organization's time zone.
